We are so very grateful to everyone who has written a kind word over the years. Your gestures have meant far more than you could ever know. Our spirits have been lifted time and again by friends near and far. Thank you all. We are encouraging those of you who continue to check on our son Max and our family to do so in the comment area of his current site: http://mighty-max.blogspot.com/

Hi Mike and Margaret,
It was an honor to be entrusted with the maintenance of this website. For me it was truly a labor of love. I know that your new blog will be a beautiful way to continue to honor Max's memory. Thank you for sharing his courageous story with such candor and openness.
With love always,
Chris

I read your story and the lovely pictures of Max. He is beautiful - you are very brave. I feel so upset at what you have gone thro as a family. My friend's grandchild has been diagnosed with Hurlers and she is devastated. God bless you all and take care of you.

Your story is very courageous and Max was definitely a fighter. He was an angel beyond measure and you were blessed with his presence. I was intrigued by your site because a friend of mine, Rob had a beautiful baby girl that was diagnosed with Hurler's Syndrome and passed away at 11 months. Your story is an inspiration and I am truly blessed to have been able to hear it. Thank you and god bless you and your family.

Ugh. What is wrong with this world that people have nothing better to do than to post trash on websites? I am so sorry that it keeps happening here. Looking past that, please know I am thinking about you guys and sending you happy thoughts!
