We are so very grateful to everyone who has written a kind word over the years. Your gestures have meant far more than you could ever know. Our spirits have been lifted time and again by friends near and far. Thank you all. We are encouraging those of you who continue to check on our son Max and our family to do so in the comment area of his current site: http://mighty-max.blogspot.com/

I read your update last night after Margaret mentioned it was there. Mike, I am always amazed at these entries, how you write them straight from the heart. I agree that there could never be a sufficient reason why a benevolent God would allow you and Margaret and Grace and, of course, Max, to go through all of this. I continue to pray for you all anyway. If God is there, I'm sure he agrees these are reasonable questions. Flo

Margaret, Mike and Grace:
I am thinking about you today, wishing there was a way I could take away your pain. Margaret and Mike, you are truly amazing parents. You don't realize what an inspiration you are to other parents. Gracie, you are an awesome girl, so very lucky to have such brave and loving parents. I am sorry, beyond words, for the way you must feel, epecially today. I pray that your beautiful little angel sends you a sign that things will some day be easier for all of you.Love, Julie

I have thought of you all often these last few weeks I can only imagine how painful this week is.
It is hard to explain how a little boy who we never meet means so much to our family. I guess we are all family, one large MPS/ML family who cannot be seperated by distance.
Sending our love Tina, Padriac, Amy + Sophie
