Thank you for visiting mighty-max.com, a site that was created in memory of
our son's courageous fight against Hurler Syndrome. While this site will
remain up as a way to remember our child, all future updates on our story
can be found at:
http://mighty-max.blogspot.com/

Mighty-max.com is the online home for information regarding our son Max. Max has been diagnosed with Hurler Syndrome, an incurable genetic disorder that has resulted in our decision to help our son through a stem cell transplant. This will be a long process, and it is our hope that this can be a central place for our friends and family to get the latest news about Max. We are also hopeful that other Hurler families that are faced with the same decisions as us can find something here to help them with the difficult road ahead.

MAX'S STORY

What you'll find here:
UPDATES: the latest news on Max and his progress.

OUR PHOTOS: the latest pictures and slide shows

GUEST BOOK: your chance to write to us and to offer words of encouragement. (it's pretty isolating here in Minnesota so kind words from afar really mean a lot)

ROAD TO RECOVERY: This section will be updated slowly, we hope to occasionally take the time to digest some of our diaries and notes and to offer some condensed versions of what we've been going through.

WHAT IS HURLER SYNDROME?: An explanation of the disease

RESEARCH / LINKS: A list of links and addresses of places and people that have educated us so much.

FRIENDS WITH HURLER: People like us, with kids like Max.
